Ved Van Park Noida 2026: Timings, Ticket Price, Laser Show & How to Reach

Ved Van Park Noida is a free-to-enter (mornings) Vedic theme park in Sector 78, built by the Noida Authority on a reclaimed dumping yard and open daily until about 9 PM. Its big draws are seven zones named after the Saptarishi, murals and verses from the four Vedas, more than 50,000 plants and an evening laser and sound show. What is Ved Van Park?

Ved Van (वेद वन, “forest of the Vedas”) is widely described as India’s first Vedic theme park. The Noida Authority developed it in Sector 78 on land that had earlier been used as a garbage dumping yard. Because the ground was unstable, the site needed soil compaction before any construction began, which is part of why the project is often cited as a good example of turning a dump into a public green space.

According to reports from 2023, the park covers about 12 acres and cost around ₹27 crore. Noida Authority officials said at the time that the aim was to give residents and visitors a chance to understand old scriptures in an accessible, outdoor setting. The park opened to the public in the summer of 2023, and the Authority began charging a small evening entry fee from 2 November 2023.

Ved Van Park timings and entry fee

Most published sources agree that the park closes at 9 PM. Opening times differ between sources (6 AM in some, 8 AM in others), so if you are planning an early-morning walk, confirm locally first.

When the Noida Authority introduced tickets in November 2023, Amar Ujala reported the following structure. We have not found any official notice of a change since then, but treat these as indicative:

The laser and sound show

The laser and sound show is the main reason most people come in the evening. It is staged in the open-air amphitheatre area and tells stories connected to the Vedas and the rishis through lights, projections and narration. Reports and visitor write-ups describe it as roughly 20 minutes long, with narration in Hindi and Sanskrit.

The exact start time has been reported differently over the years: 7:45 PM in DNA’s 2023 launch report, and 7 PM or 8 PM in other guides. Show times in outdoor venues also tend to shift slightly with the season because they start after dark. A safe plan is to arrive by 7 PM, walk the zones in the fading light, and ask the staff at the gate for that day’s show time.

Shows can be cancelled in heavy rain or for maintenance, so if the show is the only reason for your trip, check first.

The seven rishi zones

The park is divided into seven zones named after the sages Kashyap, Bharadwaj, Gautam, Atri, Vasishtha, Vishvamitra and Agastya. Four Vedas murals and verses

Plants mentioned in Vedic texts

More than 50,000 plants have been planted, with a focus on species mentioned in Vedic and later Sanskrit literature, including banyan, neem, coconut and trees labelled as kalpavriksha. Amphitheatre, gym and walking paths

The park also has a solar-lit amphitheatre, an open-air gym and paved walking paths, which is why many nearby residents use it as an everyday park in the mornings.

How to reach Ved Van Park

By metro

The nearest station is Noida Sector 101 on the NMRC Aqua Line, roughly 1 to 1.5 km from the park. From there, take an e-rickshaw or auto, or walk about 15 to 20 minutes. If you are coming from Delhi on the Blue Line, change at Noida Sector 52 to the Aqua Line at Sector 51 (connected by a walkway) and ride south to Sector 101. Check fares and first/last train times on the NMRC website, especially if you are staying for the late show.

By car or bike

The park is in the residential belt of Sectors 74 to 79, a housing-heavy part of central-east Noida. Search “Ved Van Park, Sector 78” in your maps app. Parking has been reported as available near the entrance, but it fills up on weekend evenings; arrive early or use a cab.

By cab or auto

App cabs and autos serve the area well. Late at night, book your return ride a little before the show ends, as demand spikes when the crowd leaves together.

Suggested plan for your visit

1. 5:30 PM: Arrive and buy your ticket if the evening fee applies.
2. 5:30 to 7:00 PM: Walk through the seven rishi zones and the Vedas murals while there is still light for photos.
3. 7:00 PM: Find a spot near the amphitheatre; seats with a clear view go first.
4. Show time: Watch the laser and sound show (about 20 minutes).
5. After the show: Leave a few minutes early or wait out the rush at the gate.

Tips and mistakes to avoid

• Do not arrive at 8:45 PM. Gates close at 9 PM and you will miss the show. Aim to be inside by 7 PM.
• Check the show before a long trip. Rain, maintenance or special events can cancel or delay it.
• Carry water and mosquito repellent. Evenings near planted areas can get buggy, especially after the monsoon.
• Wear comfortable shoes. The zones are spread out and best seen on foot.
• Avoid summer afternoons. From April to June there is little shade on some paths before sunset.
• Respect the sculptures. Do not climb on statues or murals for photos; they are part of the exhibit.
• Weekday evenings are calmer. Weekends and festival days draw large family crowds.
• Keep small change and UPI ready for the ticket counter.
