The Waste to Wonder Park in Noida is the scrap-art park in Sector 94 that finally opened on 1 December 2025 under the name Jungle Trail. Its ticket price is ₹120 per person (free for children under 3) and it has been reported as open from 11 AM to 10 PM daily. Many people searching for “Waste to Wonder Park Noida” actually mean the older Waste to Wonder Park in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan, which has Seven Wonders replicas and different prices. Is there a Waste to Wonder Park in Noida?

Yes, but not under that name any more. Throughout 2024 and 2025, news reports described a Noida Authority project in Sector 94 as Noida’s “Waste to Wonder Park”. In September 2025, Dainik Jagran English reported it would open on 25 September with a ₹100 ticket. The opening was delayed, and the park was inaugurated on 1 December 2025 by MP Dr Mahesh Sharma and MLA Pankaj Singh as Jungle Trail, described by Outlook Traveller as India’s first “waste-to-wildlife” park.

What you will see

The park is laid out as a world wildlife trail with Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, the Americas and an Aqua zone. The sculptures are built from discarded iron rods, motor parts, gears, chains, electric poles and wiring. There is also a 1,000-seat amphitheatre, a food court, a children’s play area, and around 3.5 lakh saplings planted using the Miyawaki method. After dark, lights and recorded animal sounds create a night-safari feel.

How to reach

The nearest station is Okhla Bird Sanctuary on the Delhi Metro Magenta Line. Botanical Garden (Blue and Magenta Line interchange) is also close, with autos and e-rickshaws available. By road, search “Jungle Trail, Sector 94” and follow the signs at the Mahamaya Flyover junction. Metro routes and fares are on the Delhi Metro website.

How the Noida park was built

The project was developed by the Noida Authority through its horticulture department on a public-private partnership model, with work starting in June 2024 according to the Authority’s statement at the launch. The idea was to reuse metal waste that had been lying unused in the city for years: old iron rods, electric poles, cables and vehicle parts were cut, welded and painted into animal forms. Pre-launch reports said operation and maintenance would be handled by the engaged development agency.

Dense Miyawaki planting on the land under the Mahamaya Flyover clover-leaf also adds green cover in one of Noida’s most traffic-heavy spots. The saplings are still young, so expect the park to look noticeably greener in each coming year.

The Delhi Waste to Wonder Park (Sarai Kale Khan)

The original Waste to Wonder Park is in Delhi, next to Sarai Kale Khan near Hazrat Nizamuddin. It was inaugurated in February 2019 by the then South Delhi Municipal Corporation (now part of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi). It displays replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World, including the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Statue of Liberty, Christ the Redeemer, Great Pyramid of Giza and the Colosseum, all made from around 150 tonnes of scrap. A later phase added a dinosaur section.

If you live in Noida or Greater Noida, Jungle Trail is closer and newer. If your children are keen on famous monuments, the Delhi park is only a short drive across the Yamuna, so you could do both on different weekends. • Do not rely on old ₹100 posts. Pre-launch articles quoted a ₹100 ticket for Noida; the reported price at opening was ₹120.
• Do not go to the Delhi park on a Monday. It has been reported closed on Mondays.
• Check the name in your maps app. Search “Jungle Trail Sector 94” for Noida; “Waste to Wonder Park” usually points to Delhi.
• Visit in the late afternoon. See the sculptures in daylight and stay for the lights after sunset.
• Keep children’s hands off the metal. Welded scrap can have sharp edges and gets hot in summer.
• Carry water and a cap. Young plantations mean limited shade in Noida.
• Budget for extras. Rides and activities can cost more than the entry ticket.
