Noida International Airport (Jewar) Guide 2026: How to Reach, Cabs, Buses, Airlines & Fees

Noida International Airport (IATA code DXN) at Jewar is Delhi-NCR’s second major airport, and it has been handling commercial flights since 15 June 2026. If you are wondering how to reach Noida International Airport in Jewar, the short answer is: by road on the Yamuna Expressway, using a cab, your own car or one of the new airport bus services, because there is no metro or rail link to the terminal yet. This guide covers routes, travel times, reported costs, airlines, fees and the practical tips first-time flyers need.

Where exactly is Noida International Airport?

The airport sits near Jewar town in the south of Gautam Buddh Nagar district, beside the Yamuna Expressway that links Greater Noida with Agra. It is developed by YIAPL, a company owned by Zurich Airport International AG, under a concession from the Uttar Pradesh government. Phase 1 has a single runway (10/28, about 3,900 metres long) and one passenger terminal of roughly 101,590 square metres with 28 aircraft stands, designed for around 12 million passengers a year. Later phases are planned to raise capacity step by step, with more runways and terminals added over the coming decades.

The terminal was designed by a consortium that included Grimshaw, Nordic Office of Architecture, Haptic and STUP. Its design borrows ideas from Indian ghats and havelis, with landscaped courtyards that bring in daylight.

How to reach Noida International Airport

As of September 2026, road is the only way to the terminal. The key corridor is the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway to Pari Chowk, followed by the Yamuna Expressway south towards Jewar. From Delhi you usually join this route via the DND Flyway, the Kalindi Kunj road or the Noida Link Road, depending on where you start.

1. By cab (Uber, Ola, Rapido or airport taxi)

App cabs are the most common option. When the airport opened, Business Today reported cab fares of around ₹800 to ₹1,600 from Film City, Noida, to the airport across Uber, Ola and Rapido (June 2026). Airport taxis run by Mahindra Mobility were also reported at the terminal from day one. Fares from Delhi, Gurugram or Ghaziabad will be higher because of the distance, tolls and surge pricing, so compare apps before booking.

2. By your own car

Driving gives you the most control over timing. The Yamuna Expressway is a tolled road, so keep FASTag balance topped up. The airport has dedicated drop-off and pick-up zones and paid car parking (see the fees section below).

3. By bus

Bus links are still being built up, so treat this section as a guide and check the latest notice before you travel:

• Noida Authority electric buses: In June 2026, India TV reported a new electric bus service, including double-decker buses, with about 10 buses earmarked for a Botanical Garden (Sector 38A) to Jewar Airport route via the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, and a reported fare of ₹50 for that trip. Botanical Garden is an interchange on the Delhi Metro Blue and Magenta Lines, which makes it a handy starting point from Delhi.
• UPSRTC and other state buses: A limited Jewar–Pari Chowk bus route has run since 2023, and UPSRTC announced expanded services along this corridor. Reports also say the airport has partnered with state transport corporations in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand for inter-city buses.

Frequencies and first/last departures were not clearly published at the time of writing, so confirm with the airport, Noida Authority or UPSRTC before you plan around a bus.

4. Metro plus cab (budget option)

There is no metro to the airport yet. The cheapest reliable combination from Delhi is usually:

1. Take the Delhi Metro Blue Line to Noida Sector 52.
2. Use the new air-conditioned skywalk (opened in late August 2026) to walk to Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line.
3. Ride the Aqua Line to Pari Chowk or the Depot station in Greater Noida.
4. Take a cab or a bus for the remaining stretch on the Yamuna Expressway.

Airlines and destinations

When commercial operations started on 15 June 2026, the first flight was an IndiGo service from Lucknow. As of September 2026, publicly available route lists show two airlines:

• IndiGo: routes including Amritsar, Bareilly, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pantnagar and Srinagar.
• Akasa Air: Bengaluru, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Airline schedules change often. Search for your route with DXN as the airport code on the airline’s own website to see what is currently operating. International flights are planned but check the airlines for any launch announcements.

Airport fees and parking charges

The airport’s tariffs were fixed by the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) before launch. For 2026–27, the User Development Fee (UDF) reported for domestic passengers is ₹490 on departure and ₹210 on arrival; for international passengers it is ₹980 on departure and ₹420 on arrival. This fee is normally collected inside your air ticket price, so you do not pay it separately at the airport.

For car parking, reports on the AERA order state ₹25 for the first two hours after the free period and ₹50 beyond four hours for the current financial year. Detailed slabs for longer stays and two-wheelers were not clearly published at the time of writing, so check the signboards at the parking entry. These charges are as of September 2026 and may be revised.

Future connectivity: metro, RRTS and more

Several rail links have been proposed but none is running yet:

• An extension of the Greater Noida metro network towards the airport.
• A proposed Ballabhgarh (Faridabad)–Noida Airport metro link.
• The Ghaziabad–Jewar RRTS corridor, reported at about 71.1 km with 11 stations.
• Integration with a proposed high-speed rail corridor.

Timelines for these projects are still uncertain, so do not plan trips around them until official launch dates are announced.

Tips for flying from Jewar airport

• Leave early. The airport is far from most of NCR. Newsx estimated about 90 minutes to 2 hours from Delhi and 45 minutes to an hour from Greater Noida, and traffic near DND, Kalindi Kunj and Pari Chowk can add more.
• Check your airport code. DXN is not the same as Delhi’s IGI (DEL). Double-check your ticket and cab destination; many travellers type “Delhi airport” out of habit.
• Book the cab in advance for early-morning flights. Driver availability on this long route can be thin at night.
• Carry some cash and keep FASTag active. Useful for tolls and if a card machine is down.
• Do not rely on a bus you have not confirmed. Services are new and schedules may change; keep a cab app as a backup.
• Watch the last metro. If you plan a metro-plus-cab return, check the last Aqua Line train from Pari Chowk before you land late at night.
